my god thats horrible practice. you really shouldn’t be opening connections to other sites via a WP plugin unless totally necessary, i.e things like a twitter app to TWITTER, or a last.fm app to last.fm, nothing else.

The trailing comma problem is the most annoying simply because it occurs everywhere. There are some worse things though like when IE decided to run out of memory and die like when doing string concats.
